Mercury Boy: Joyride in Space
Last updated: 8 August 2026
Mercury Boy does not require an account and never asks for your real name, e-mail address, phone number, precise location, contacts or photos. It uses Google services for ads, analytics and crash reports, and your platform's game service (Game Center on iOS) for leaderboards. There are no in-app purchases.
Who we are
Mercury Boy is published on the Apple App Store by Alaattin Bedir, an independent software developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye, who trades as Mobixo AI and is the data controller responsible for the data described in this policy. The Android version has been removed from Google Play; this policy is kept online for the players who still have the game installed.

What the app collects
The app has no server of its own and we keep no user database. Data is collected by the third-party services embedded in the app; all of them are listed below.
| What is collected | Why | Processed by |
|---|---|---|
| App usage and gameplay events, device model, operating system version, approximate country derived from IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier | To understand which parts of the game are used and to improve them | Google Firebase Analytics |
| Crash reports: stack traces, device state at the moment of the crash, operating system version | To find and fix crashes | Google Firebase Crashlytics |
| A push notification token generated for your device installation, if you allow notifications | To deliver notifications about the game. If you decline the notification permission, no token is used. | Google Firebase Cloud Messaging |
| Advertising data: the device advertising identifier where it is available, IP address, device model and operating system version, ad impression and interaction data | To show banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads, to limit how often the same ad appears and to prevent ad fraud | Google AdMob |
| Your player identifier and your leaderboard scores (distance travelled, coins collected) | To record leaderboard positions. This applies only if you are signed in to Game Center on iOS, or to Google Play Games on Android. | Apple Game Center / Google Play Games Services |
| Game progress and settings: high score, coin balance, unlocked items, sound preference | So you can continue where you left off. Stored on your device, never sent to us, and deleted when you uninstall the app. | Stored on your device — not transmitted to us |
The app contains no in-app purchases, no multiplayer, no chat and no friend list. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers listed above.
Children
Mercury Boy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The app does not ask users for a name, e-mail address, phone number or any other personal detail, and it has no chat, photo sharing or friend requests.
Where data is processed
The service providers above operate globally, so your data may be processed outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area — in particular in the United States and in the European Union. These transfers take place under the safeguards published by each provider, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Analytics and crash data are retained according to the default retention periods of Google Firebase (currently up to 14 months for analytics events and 90 days for crash reports). Leaderboard data is kept by Apple or Google under their own policies. Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Your choices and rights
- Notifications: you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.

- Deleting local data: uninstalling the app deletes the score, coins and settings stored on your device.
