Mercury Boy: Joyride in Space

Mercury Boy does not require an account and never asks for your real name, e-mail address, phone number, precise location, contacts or photos. The two platforms differ: the Android version is rated for players aged 13 and over and shows personalised ads using the device advertising identifier, while the iOS version is listed in the App Store's children's section, shows only non-personalised ads, never uses the advertising identifier and has analytics switched off entirely. Crash reporting uses Google services; leaderboards use your platform's game service (Game Center on iOS, Google Play Games on Android). There are no in-app purchases.
Who we are
Mercury Boy is published on the Apple App Store and on Google Play by Alaattin Bedir, an independent software developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye, who trades as Mobixo AI and is the data controller responsible for the data described in this policy.

What the app collects
The app has no server of its own and we keep no user database. Data is collected by the third-party services embedded in the app; all of them are listed below.

The app contains no in-app purchases, no multiplayer, no chat and no friend list. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers listed above.
Children
The game's content is gentle and cartoon-styled, but the two stores treat it differently. On the App Store it is listed in the children's section (Made for Kids): there, advertising is configured as child-directed under Google AdMob's policies for children — ads are non-personalised, the advertising identifier is not used, no tracking permission is ever requested, and analytics collection is switched off entirely. On Google Play the game is rated for players aged 13 and over: that version shows personalised advertising and uses the device advertising identifier, so it is not intended for younger children. On both platforms we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone: the app never asks for a name, e-mail address, phone number or any other personal detail, and it has no chat, photo sharing or friend requests. If you believe a child has nevertheless provided us with personal information, write to support@mobixo.ai and we will delete it.
Where data is processed
The service providers above operate globally, so your data may be processed outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area — in particular in the United States and in the European Union. These transfers take place under the safeguards published by each provider, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Analytics and crash data are retained according to the default retention periods of Google Firebase (currently up to 14 months for analytics events and 90 days for crash reports). Leaderboard data is kept by Apple or Google under their own policies. Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Your choices and rights
- Notifications: you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.
- Advertising identifier: you can reset or delete it in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Leaderboards: managed from Settings → Game Center on iOS, or from your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com on Android.
- Deleting local data: uninstalling the app deletes the score, coins and settings stored on your device.
- Access, correction and deletion: under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the GDPR you may ask what data relates to you and request its deletion. Write to support@mobixo.ai; we respond within 30 days.
